วันนี้วันเสาร์ เหมาะแด่การพักผ่อนยิ่งนัก เลยเอาบทความสบาย ๆ มาให้อ่านกันครับ
จะว่าบทความก็ไม่ใช่ เอาเป็นว่าเป็นคำตอบสำหรับข้อสงสัย ที่หลาย ๆ คนสงสัยเกี่ยวกับ Harris Chan ล่ะกันครับ ว่าเค้ามีเทคนิคอะไรดี ๆ ครับ

ผมมีโอกาศได้ถามคำถามน้องเค้า สองสามคำถามครับ คือ
1. น้อง Harris Chan ใช้รูบิคแบบไหนครับ
2. มีเทคนิคอะไรนอกเหนือจาก CFOP ที่ใช้มั้ยครับ
3. อยากบอกอะไรกับพวกเรา เพื่อพัฒนาการเล่นให้ดีขึ้น

I'll be glad to answer these questions:

1. I use the cube4you.com DIY (I'm sure you have use them right? I saw in the forum the guide on how to assemble it). I have one a few cube that is "hybrid", which is cube4you.com centers (core+washers+center/center cap), and store cube (from Toys R Us) cubies (edges+corners). It worked out quite well. I am about to try Joy cubes (used by Yu Jeong Min, aka Gungz), and I'll see how they works out :D

2. My CFOP is just pretty basic. But like Macky said on his speedcubing page, I try to preserve the first pair during the cross. Usually, I can do the last 2 c/e pair in "one look", meaning that I have no pause between the third + fourth pair. I just do two of them in one motion at highest speed.

3. There are a couple of ways to improve. But it is just about trying to find out what your weakness is (for example: Is your cube not good enough? Is you F2L not fluent/ full of pause? Is your LL not executed fast? Are you turning too much?) and then try to fix it. Macky has the really good list of tips for each stage on how to improve.

Try this drill for F2L:
1. Inspect the first pair.
2. Know what algorithm you are going to do (don't turn the cube yet).
3. And then find the second pair
4. Close your eyes, and solve the first pair.
5. As you're solving the first pair, try to track the second pair in your head (see how the corners move around, rotate, etc.) In your head, you should not need to see the first pair--only the second pair, so you only concentrate on how the second pair move and change, and let your hands deal with the first pair.

Once you can do the drill without much need to think too much, when you start doing the real speedsolving, you can already "feel" how the second pair will end up after you are done the first pair, without even turning the cube yet! That way, you can reduce pauses. Hope that helps ^^

ผมแปลคราว ๆ ให้ไว้นะครับ
1. น้องเค้าใช้ DIY จาก Cube4U ซึ่งน้องเค้าบอกว่าเหมือนกับที่เรา ๆ ใช้กันอยู่ครับ แต่เค้ามีการปรับแต่งเป็นแบบผสมครับ โดยการใช้แกน และ Center จาก DIY รวมเข้ากับชิ้นขอบ และมุมจากของ Toy'r us ครับ
2. ใช้ CFOP เหมือนกันครับ แต่จะพยายามทำมุมแรกในขณะสร้าง Cross ด้วยครับ (Extend Cross) และเค้าสามารถทำ มุมที่ 3 และ 4 โดยการมองเพียงครั้งเดียวครับ ซึ่งจะไม่มีการเสียเวลาเพื่อมอง มุมที่ 4 ครับ
3. สำหรับการพัฒนาการเล่น น้องเค้าบอกให้หาจุดอ่อนตัวเองครับ แล้วแก้ไขซะ ซึ่งอาจจะเป็น รูบิคไม่ดีพอ , F2L ไม่ต่อเนื่อง , LL ไม่เร็วพอ , หมุนมากเกินไป หาแล้วแก้ไขการเล่นครับ

และแถมครับการฝึก F2L ครับ
1. หาคู่แรก
2. ดูว่าจะบิดอย่างไร แต่อย่าเพิ่งบิดครับ
3. หาคู่ที่สอง
4. ปิดตาครับ และบิดคู่แรก
5. ระหว่างที่ปิดตาทำคู่แรกนั่น ให้คิดอยู่ในหัวว่าชิ้นของคู่ที่สองที่เรามองไว้ จะไปที่ไหนบ้าง จินตนาการไว้ในหัวครับ ปล่อยให้มือทำคู่แรกไป แล้วคิดว่าคู่ที่สองจะไปอยู่ตรงไหน

ฝึกให้มากพอครับ เวลาทำจริงจะรู้เองว่าชิ้นต่อไปจะไปอยู่ที่ไหนครับ ซึ่งจะไม่ทำให้เสียเวลาหาหลังจากเสร็จชิ้นแรกเลยครับ
